Your Team Responsibilities

Join MSCI’s Private Assets Product team focused on Sustainability & Climate (S&C) solutions, where you will help deliver the next generation of AI-enabled platform solutions for participants in private markets. This product management role exists to accelerate the development of cutting-edge solutions for S&C across institutional investors and managers — with tools that support their internal workflows and investment processes across physical risk, transition risk, nature risk and emerging risks. 

You will work closely with senior MSCI leadership and cross-functional teams to translate client needs, market insights, and data capabilities into shipped products. Operating in an AI-first product environment, this role spans the full product lifecycle—from early discovery and validation through build, launch, and ongoing enhancement of live solutions. 

This role is execution-oriented, collaborative, and designed to grow in scope over time, offering meaningful exposure to product strategy, client engagement, and go-to-market execution while maintaining a strong focus on delivery excellence.

Your Key Ressponsibilities

  • Lead ideation, discovery and execution of new S&C products in private markets where AI is grounded in solutioning 
  • Build the S&C strategy in private markets for MSCI extending across data management, analytics (physical risk, transition risk, nature/biodiversity risk and emerging risks), and data products (taxonomies and ratings) 
  • Support the creation of business cases by conducting deep market due diligence on competitive landscape, opportunity sizing and market positioning 
  • Evaluate paths to product creation, including but not limited to, buy, build or partner 
  • Design pricing models and support sales campaign planning and execution  
  • Work with Program Management, Marketing, and Coverage to assist coordination of go to market planning and execution including subject matter expertise for the development of product support collateral and client facing documentation  
  • Analyse product usage statistics and reporting to develop insights into client behaviors, needs, product opportunities and risks  
  • Prepare reports or analysis for MSCI’s senior management business reviews  
  • Support strategic client opportunities from a product perspective  
  • Build deep knowledge of Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions  

 

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • 5+ years of experience in an S&C product management role, with domain expertise of financial services, private markets, artificial intelligence and S&C 
  • Deep understanding and experience in either physical risk, transition risk or nature risk 
  • Experience in business/financial analysis, data analysis, process mapping and specification writing, and familiarity with the product management & development lifecycle  
  • Knowledge, understanding and experience of working with AI tools to prototype and solution 
  • Experience in AI led innovation and execution 
  • Detail-oriented and analytical approach to problem-solving with a strong execution mindset 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CFA, or CAIA preferred) 
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and intellectually curious with a growth mindset and passion for innovation
