Your Team Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Fund of Funds product strategy and multi-year roadmap, aligned with MSCI’s product vision and business priorities.

  • Identify emerging client needs through engagement with strategic accounts, market analysis, and competitive insights.

  • Partner with Research, Data, and Program Management teams to deliver product initiatives, ensuring alignment on priorities, milestones, and risks.

  • Drive innovation across the Fund of Funds product suite to improve client outcomes and differentiation.

  • Oversee BAU product intake and prioritization, including oversight of Private i platform requests, balancing client responsiveness with scalability and long-term value.

  • Support the design, launch, and go-to-market of new offerings in collaboration with senior product leaders, Marketing, Sales, and Client Coverage.

  • Track post-launch performance and incorporate client feedback and usage data into ongoing roadmap planning.

Your Key Ressponsibilities

Strategic Product Leadership

  • Contribute to the Fund of Funds product strategy and multi-year roadmap, ensuring alignment with MSCI’s overall product vision and business priorities.
  • Identify emerging client needs, work directly with strategy accounts, monitor market trends, and competitive opportunities to shape future direction.
  • Partner with Research and Data teams to enhance methodologies, datasets, and analytics relevant to manager investing.
  • Drive innovation and differentiation within the FoF product suite to enhance client outcomes.

Product Delivery and Program Management Collaboration

  • Work in partnership with Program Management to plan, coordinate, and track execution of product initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment across cross-functional delivery teams on milestones, dependencies, and execution risks.
  • Participate in governance forums and provide transparent communication on progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Ensure business objectives and delivery outcomes remain closely aligned.

Business-as-Usual (BAU) Oversight and Platform ownership

  • Lead Coverage intake oversight, managing incoming product requests, feedback, and enhancements from the Client Coverage and Sales teams, ensuring structured prioritization and timely resolution.
  • Maintain strong governance and prioritization across BAU and ad hoc initiatives, balancing client responsiveness with scalability and long-term value creation.
  • Strategic account product planning, roadmap and delivery reporting.

New Product Development and Go-to-Market

  • Contribute to the design, development, and launch of new Fund of Funds offerings in partnership with senior product leaders.
  • Support go-to-market execution through coordination with Marketing, Sales, and Client Coverage.
  • Monitor post-launch performance and adoption metrics to inform ongoing product refinement.
  • Incorporate client feedback and usage data into roadmap planning.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • 5-8+ years of experience in product management or related functions within financial services, ideally with exposure to fund investing, fund selection, or fund of funds
  • Proven success managing both BAU operations and strategic product initiatives in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Strong understanding of investment workflows, performance calculations, fund data, and analytics.
  • Proven ability to contribute to strategic product planning while managing day-to-day operations.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product Management, Program Management, Technology, and Data teams on complex product delivery.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, CFA, CAIA, or equivalent) preferred.
